Early Morning Seminary...The best part of waking up!

Okay, here's my story...It's Saturday early morning, I wake up and think to myself, YAHOO, I don't have to get up early today(important to a early morning Seminary teacher).But where is Tim and what is that noise? Staple, staple, staple, clomp, clomp, clomp on the roof. I get up , it's early 6:45 and it's cold and I can't find Tim. Outside I go, and what to my surprise, It's Tim on the roof, playing Santa's light elf! Yep, today is November 8th and Tim is putting up the Christmas lights! Now don't get me wrong, I love Christmas and the lights and I love that Tim loves them too, but really Nov. 8th and at 6:45 a.m.? So much for sleeping in...sigh, Let the Holidays begin:)

Ethan in a suit! Today was Stake Conference and Ethan was sustained to the Office of an Elder. He was already ordained about 2 months ago, but was sustained today! His suit was one that Tanya found on sale and bought it for him and mailed it to him, and I let the hem out of the pants and there you go...Ethan has a suit! It was a great week-end, I was able to go to the Temple yesterday, and be in the session with Tommy Prichard who was recieving his Endowment as he leaves for his mission next week...Way to go Tommy! I, however, managed to go tho the Temple with 2 completly different shoes:) Different color, different heel size..yeah, I noticed it as I was changing clothes and putting them in the locker! I just started laughing, reverently of course! I can't even blame it on being to early, or not turning on the lights...all the lights were on, well maybe not all the lights hahahahah. Anyway, it was a great weekend. I am so thankful for the gift of the Holy Ghost, and for the witness of truths!

Yes, it's offical...I am now a blogger, that just happened! I would like to start my first blog with last night. Ethan has always been big on pumpkin carving. And even though he is almost 19, this year was no exception! Question like what to carve, when to carve, kept flying around the dinner table . Well Thursday was the day of choice, and it being an election year, it really was a no brainer....John McCcain was to be carved into Ethan's not home grown pumpkin! He took the template off line and about 3 hours later the John McCain jack-o-lantern of North Hills was born!
